TBC Core Values
At Trinity, we value God, the creator and sustainer of all. We will obey Him, worship Him, trust Him and serve Him and Him alone, in everything we do. Isaiah 40:28-29 28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. 29 He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.
At Trinity, we value the Bible, God’s holy and infallible Word, as our guide book for every aspect of everything we do. We will study, teach and live by its timeless truths. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
At Trinity, we value prayer, and believe that God hears and responds to the prayers of every believer. We will thus find ourselves in the comfort of God’s presence through prayer, surrounding all we do. Philippians 4:6-7 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. At Trinity, we value family, God’s basic unit of all society. We will nurture the family by supporting faith-filled marriages, Godly parenting, and Christian homes through teaching God’s standards for husbands, wives, parents and children. Proverbs 24:3 Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established;
At Trinity, we value the Gospel of Jesus Christ, believing that this message alone will bring the lost to salvation. We will unashamedly share this message with the lost in whatever manner necessary to convey this, the most important of truths. Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
At Trinity we value lost people, and believe they matter to God. We will tailor every activity to point lost people to a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Luke 19:9-10 9 And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; 10 "for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."
At Trinity, we value spiritual growth, believing that God commands all believers to strengthen their walk with Him. We will provide various discipleship opportunities so everyone can grow. Hebrews 6:1a Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,
At Trinity, we value leaders, believing that God has appointed individuals to direct His work. We will support our leaders and work with them as we, together, do the work of the ministry. Ephesians 4:11-12 11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
