The primary missions outlet for Trinity is the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention. Through the CP we are able, in cooperative effort with other SBC churches all over the country, have a part in more missions endeavors that we could ever hope to alone. To that end, a portion of our monthly income goes directly to the CP for missions work in California and around the world.

There are several missions emphases each year. The regular Southern Baptist International Missions and North American missions emphases are observed. At VBS each year we collect “Pennies for Missions.’  TBC is a recognized collection point for Operation Christmas Child – a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse International. Many of our members are also members of The Pocket Testament League.

We not only encourage our members to give financially to missions, but to take part as well. Trinity Family members have been Asia, Rwanda, Mexico and literally from coast to coast in the US. One of our members is a primary driver for the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief mobile kitchen based out of Bakersfield.

We also never forget that there is a need at home – right here in Palmdale – to minister to people. We know that our home is our primary mission field.

Sunday school is not just for children. It is an organized Bible Study time each Sunday at 9:45AM just before the morning worship time. In Sunday school you will not just have a lesson but it is in this small group setting that you will build friendships better than you can is the larger worship service setting.

There is a place for everyone in Sunday school. It really is not just for Children. So be encouraged with the words of this old song “Don’t send your kids to Sunday school, get out of that bed and take ‘em.”  You’ll be glad you did.
